Kyouji Nemoto (根本 恭二 Nemoto Kyōji) is a minor antagonist in the Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu series. He is Class 2-B's Representative at Fumizuki Academy.

Despite his high ranking in the hierarchy of grades, he is far from a model student; he chooses the better strategy, regardless of its fairness, to get the most advantageous result in an exam. Scheming, confident and disrespectful of even his own classmates, he is seen by the rest of his Year as dishonorable. The students of Class 2-F are considered by him of boundless stupidity because they are not just an academic failure, but also too stupid to grab an opportunity with both hands when one comes.

He is cunning, scheming and does not hesitate to use underhanded tricks to win, may it be in an ESB (Exam Summoning Battle), Test Summoning War, or exam. This has also been proven in the instance when he destroyed the resources of Class F just to gain an advantage, but was still defeated, even though Class F had a disadvantage. He also took Himeji's love letter for Akihisa (he thought it was for Yuuji).

He was going out with Yuuka Koyama, the class representative for Class 2-C and attempted to set up an alliance with Class 2-C during the war with Class 2-F in Volume 1. This was later foiled by Yuuji's contingency plan. After he was defeated, he was forced to wear the school's female uniform and also have his photograph taken, which was later used as blackmailing leverage by Yuuji.

When Yuuka sees him wearing a female school uniform, she immediately dumps him. In the 2nd OVA of the series, although, he is teamed up with Yūka in the tournament, Yuuji and Akihisa showed Yuuka an album full of pictures of Nemoto wearing a girl's outfit, in which she withdrawn from the match and acquired the album. Nemoto's album was burned down by Yuuka in the Bonfire dance.

When crossdressing Kyoji had hair ribbons much like Shouko Kirishima.

Story

In Opening of Volume 11, Nemoto was once more humiliated by giving out a letter, which is inside is a picture, to the Class 2-A, of Ironman and him holding hands; saying "We will get Married". This was planned by Akihisa and Yuuji, by replacing the "threat" letter which was the original, and swapped it with the picture.
